Franz Bischoff - IM IN LOVE

Captivating, romantic landscapes. Beautiful color palletes, I love the bright colors. The intricacy of color. The definition

Coco Larrian- Collage

Ive been trying to find a collage artist I like now for a very long time> FINALLY! I like the way she uses line and words as decorative elements, and pairs it with organic oil painting.

Alex Kanevsky- Im so obsessed!

COLOR! alluding to other colors, layers. Mostly his cool tones paired with electric reds, oranges, and dark browns

Michael Rossman

I was just reminded of a teacher I had freshman year who was so inspiring. I remember the advice he gave me was " SLOW DOWN" Maybe something I should remember to do more.
I remember how mathmatical he was about drawing. He loved to plot points. He loved to draw every little line that didnt matter, and in the end, those marks became really important

Jean Baptiste Camille Corot

The way he handles paint, layering, values

Edwin dickinson

The simplicity of color use and the brushstrokes

Edwin Dickinson- I love the translucent layering of the landscape and the way he layers color in the jacket. Beautiful

Nancy Craig

I love how she dealt with the background,I love the colors and how the face gives us enoughinformation while continuing to look painterly

Edwin Dickinson

the subtlety of color and the simplicity

Edwin Dickinson

Edwin dickinson- Self portrait.
I love how expressive it is and the way he handles paint. the layers and the many colors within a value. Beautiful to get lost in

Giorgio Morandi- cross hatching Genius

cross hatching Genius

Alex Kandevsky-
I love the way he uses layers and light and all the colors within one value are amazing. The background is also very interesting in this work as well

Richard Diebenkorn

I love the layering..the way he uses line and color and how everything is so busy and simultaneously still
I love the way the greys are almost unnoticeable, yet so prominent. I want to be able to show colors like that. I also think this is very successful for abstract work. Very minimalistic but gives the viewer enough.
the blending of the natural world and the industrial world with a hint of futurism. Very unique way of depicting "the end of the world ". I love how he mixes so many different media to create a really unique feeling to his work

Perspective. Color use in the lit area.
Antonio Lopez Garcia- The contrast and the peacefulness displayed in this scene is really beautiful
Antonio Garcia Lopez- the line quality is just beautiful
Vermeer- I love the narrative and the sunlight hitting all of the right spots. I also love that the wall is not white....
Jan Vermeer- I love the muted colors and the feeling this gives off. You can almost feel the cool damp air
Kurt Schwitters- I love this found object art. I love the muted colors and the variety in shapes, sizes and materials.
Eleanor Miller- I love the abstracted background. The way she did it feels like a swamp. Its as if its moldy. this is kinda what I was getting at with the animals and backgrounds I do.
